Today was our first day on snow this month. The boys free skied GS at vail. Since I have new skis, since Chile, it took me a few runs to really get the feeling back again. However, after I focused on one or two things per run, I was able to skis like I was at the end of the Chile camp. It was great. All the boys are really concentrating and putting forward 100% of their effort because we all realize that the ski season starts very soon after our return to Vermont. Tomorrow we will split into groups, some getting into GS gates and some free skiing.
After a quick jog, a groups of friends and I spent most of our afternoon in the tuning rooms getting prepared from tomorrow. We then relaxed the rest of the evening. Can not wait to get into GS gates tomorrow. Will post the results from tomorrow later in the evening.

Stay tuned.

Leaving GMVS at 2 am, we finally arrived in Vail, Colorado. We pulled in the hotel parking lot around 4 pm. After we unpacked the cargo van, we all rushed to our rooms to claim the largest bed in the condo. Fortunately there were sufficient amounts of beds for everybody. Our condo is very large and has a fully functioning kitchen. We are all very excited to be hear. This is where the fall training will pay off, especially with the high altitude. Tomorrow the boys will be skiing the afternoon session at Vail from 1 until 4, while the girls head to Loveland and ski the morning session. The snow is apparently very hard all day so I am very excited to make some turns. Tomorrow we will free ski on GS skis.

Time to make some turns.
